A scout hog. Really. These content updates actually include a scout hog as one the REQs…

Does no else see the BS in this? What kind of content update is this? This barely qualifies as content. Their just reskins seriously. Reskins of stuff you can only use in one game mode IF you’re lucky. And it’s the samething with the maps. 343i is actually that lazy to say that reskins and remixes are content. Yes their extra stuff but they’re the same?
Does no one else see this?

A needler hog sounds awesome, but really how much more time and money would it have taken to give us a damn vehicle. Like the spectre, or a revanant or a brute chopper, or a falcon. Why another damn reskins?! Ugh.

I don’t consider this a full monthly update. This is basically a bonus update now and we get a bigger, better Firefight update sooner!

I think they said something along those lines. It’s almost a filler essentially.

Halo 3, 2 didn’t have a transport hog.

Hog Wild isn’t being considered an update anymore, just a req drop. They moved all the big stuff from that update to the WZFF update for more polish and stuff, but they’re still releasing the req’s as we wait for the next true update. Just be patient, my dude, it’s gonna be tight.

A free one. You do realize that Warzone Firefight is also coming in June, right?

They basically admitted that this update is just a req filler… they could’ve taken this opportunity to easily release permanent ranked Team Doubles -_-

I actually think the scout has the potential for some cool ideas to make it useful/interesting. Wonder what the green glow could mean. Fuel rod on the warthog and releasable fuel rod gas around the scout hog?

I don’t get why people hate scout hogs so much. Spawn yourself an ONI Scout, have a buddy spawn a Whiplash or The Answer and you become a rolling death machine with more cover than being in a normal Hog’s chaingun

If they could make a transport hog that’d be great. So be fair though I’m expecting this to be a sword scout hog being it has shield technology.

Yeah, that is pretty dumb. There is already so much redundancy among Warthogs, A Sword Needle Hog may introduce some variety (term used lightly), but a Covenant-skinned Scout Hog doesn’t add anything new to the table compared to existing Scout Hogs. Even if it was more armored than an ONI Scout Hog; who cares?! It’s not different.
I had a feeling that the Hog Wild update would be the least substantial update of them all, back when it was first listed in that update line-up. So far, with 343i moving the majority of the Hog Wild update back to the WZFF update, my suspicions are being confirmed.
