As Someone who has played Halo since the very first on my Original “beast” console. It is very depressing to see what this franchise has become. I like many others are allowed to have a voice and be heard and not to be silenced by the 343 admins as i have paid for the game and paid my rights and own my copies and the content of my gameplay in which i have recorded. The reason i say that is, Basically for too long i have read threads on these forums and watched as the rude admins who run them silence it’s players for having a voice and opinion where it was something they agree with and 90% someone they don’t agree with. Congratulations are in order for Halo Infinite. Campaign was alright, still needs some love and work through. Story was beautiful and meant something to someone like me who had a deep involvement in the story of Spartan-117 . I have read the books, played the games and after seeing what the multiplayer has become since Halo 5 i can easily say…Not much has honestly changed.
The whole idea behind allowing players to make purchases to make their spartan look as stupid as can be is one of the biggest killers for this multiplayer. Nothing says “thanks for being unintimidating spartan” then watching someone run around with cats ears on their helmet. Whatever happened to the core of what a spartan was? a Hell Jumper! a Grenadier! even the awesome ODST armour. But no, we the players have to see these horrible colours and designs of gun skins and teddy bears on chest plates like its a bowl of Fruit Loops. What happen 343? You fell off and made the game i once loved too childish now. You have spent more time on designs and skin and trying to make money! That was yours and Mircosofts fault for allowing this game to be free to play in the hopes people would spend their money on skins, obviously its worked for some…
The sad things that stand out the most is the Game modes. Same old Slayer. Same old Capture the flag and same old wanna be elimination game known as the worst thing i have seen since Battlefield 2042 called Attrition. I like many players wish that BTB has more maps and modes. I like many players wish we could have a better fiesta mode that wasn’t tainted with unlocking some stupid skin like it is Call of Duty during a event. Hopefully in the next season pass these creators of the game learn from some of its mistakes like bringing in Super Fiesta. For those who actually played the campaign, there is so many weapons that are going astray cause they haven’t been implemented into a Super Fiesta mode yet.
As much as i didn’t enjoy the game mode it is surely missed being Infection. This game mode had 70% chance of being able to get a match at least. King of the hill mode would be nice too. Pretty much what we got in Halo MCC (which only took you 8 years to finally get right) would be nice. The modes constantly changed which was good. Halo infinite needs new maps. Screams for better content. Surely you can afford to design these things as so many are running around with $15.00 Cats ears (Australian)
I get your trying to change things up and hey I’m all for change but not when its constantly all about skins and stupid emblems. As much as Halo 5 multiplayer failed at somethings. It’s Rank Systems and unlockable content during your matches for things that the player did was so much better then what we have now. Cause you know I’d rather have more unlockable for gameplay then what is given to us in this game. Max i got to on Halo 5 was 151 and the challenge to climb to 152 was so worth it cause i wanted it, i needed it.
I don’t have any doubts this thread will be deleted and taken down “cause truth and player opinions hurt” But take a play from Call of Duty’s play book they finally listened to their players and fans of the game and stopped the garbage to a degree and made sure the CHEATERS! get caught out which is something that Halo Infinite still hasn’t got right. The amount of clips i have recorded of people CLEARLY cheating is incredible and the fact that you can still match up with them 3 games in a row is a joke.
I know this will be deleted in a few hours anyone but at least i finally got to write something and vent my heart out to a franchise that i love more then any other game. by the time it’s 3am here in Australia i know this post will be deleted and i couldn’t care cause i got to say what i wanted and some may get to read it and have their opinion and maybe jussssst maybe you’ll actually take it on board.
