What if Master Chief didn’t die in the last Halo, but instead was made into an A.I to be with Cortana. Could you imagine how awesome that would be? They would finally be together.

Yeah, that’s what I thought, too.
I don’t know, I just don’t think there CAN be a satisfying conclusion to their situation. Chief is an ageing warhorse and Cortana is an Artificial Intelligence in the process of unravelling at the seems. Turning Chief into an Artificial Intelligence would be a cop-out, in my opinion. Turning Cortana into a living organism, human or otherwise, would be completely ridiculous.
As grim as it sounds, they have to die. Otherwise, nothing will be satisfying about 343’s story. They’d might as well put “And they all lived happily ever after” before the credits.

but they arent attracted to each other, it makes no sense… Spartan IIs are incapable of a sexual drive so its not like he thinks shes hot or something… also they have been through so much that that would be like him making out with his sister

Yeah, see Cortana is cloned from Halsey’s brain. So that would basically be Chief marrying his mother figure (in a twisted way, but who else is Halsey? His Drill Sargent?)

Cortana I believe has her own personality, but you might be right.
Huh, you know I actually kind of like that idea… It’d just be too easy to absolutely mess up in the worst way though… Still…
I’m pretty sure he didn’t die. Plus, truthfully, being an A.I sounds lame, they don’t get to do all the things master chief get’s to do, IMO this doesn’t sound like it would make a very good game.
