As I have been so bummed about where Halo 4 is going, I came to a realization that has been my XBL motto for a while now. “Just enjoy the game.” No matter how angry, depressed, or bummed I get, I most-likely get Halo 4 and just have fun, which is what it is meant for, right? Anyway, I only have one thing to ask of you 343. Please stop copying COD. At least try and make it less obvious. I mean, Spartan Ops… Really? I hope you get my point. Please don’t take it the wrong way. I want you, 343, to keep machinimists, clans, and MLG in-mind. That is all I desperately ask at this point. Thanks… I guess…

I agree. While it sounds pretty bad to me at this point since, intentional or not, they’re making it a lot more like Call of Duty, I’ll remain cautiously optimistic until I get to play it. Is anyone else even more freaked out that they’re not having a public beta after hearing about all these changes?
I kinda like the ideas! MC’s story, multiplayer, more spartans, your Spartan having a “Story mode” of his/her own…this is going to be great!
But yeah, if it were called anything else, it’d be called “Spartan Ops”. What would you call it?!

I’m a little disappointed. But hey, it will make the first bite of that copy of Halo 4 even better! NO DOUBT, I’m getting the Legendary edition again! I might even start asking about my vacation days!

we knew that a while ago. 343 are on the razor’s edge and with no beta or gameplay of any kind - people are freaking out.

-Spartan Campaign
-Spartan Storyline
-Co-op Missions
-Heck, even “Spartan Operations.”
I’m sure they could come up with something better than mine! 
Just anything different than COD. It just seems like they didn’t even try to come up with an orginal name and they are openly copying COD.

haha Agreed. While I’m terrified about the changes and lack of beta, not being able to play it beforehand takes me back to the Halo 2 launch. I was so excited for it and I love that my first experience playing it was in the first campaign level. I’m sure even though I’m freaking out now I’ll be crazy excited when I’m standing in line for my copy. Midnight launch since Halo 2!

I am and have always been mostly excited for the campaign. Multiplayer still seems fun to me, but it will be different, whether that is a good or bad thing is to be found out.
