At the menu for each lobby you see a bullet point that says something to the effect of “Matchmaking ban rules apply for quitting” maybe there should be a playlist (maybe social slayer when it comes out) that specifically allows quitting. I mean people have stuff come up, occasionally you need to take a call or hop off when you realize youre late for an appointment. I think itd be helpful to have at least one playlist somewhere that allows for quitting so people that have busy lives can play at peace and leave when they need to.
Your infant just opened the knife drawer in the other room? Well since youre a responsible Dad and you knew to play in social slayer (or whichever playlist) you can leave the game and hop right back into Halo when your child has been laid down for a nap.
Yeah, people are gonna love a playlist that allows quitters…
Any unranked or FFA playlist should not ban for quitting.
The reason there is a quit ban in the first place is to discourage people dropping out of games and screwing over their teammates who are trying to compete in a ranked game.
Free-For-All has no teams, and therefore should not punish you for leaving a game. Social playlists are supposed to be… well, social; a thing you can just play for fun. Rigid rules like quit-banning seem like a counter-intuitive thing to have in these and goes against the idea of a casual playlist.

I absolutely agree but if they dont budge on that then Id say a social lobby that allows it would be nice

This guy. This guy gets it.
A responsible dad would have drawer locks. Childproofing 101.
