Are they better than Spartan 3’s? As in More powerful like Spartan 2’s.
Most likely because MC gets an armor upgrade, the spartans in the multiplayer looked similar to MC and they were spartan 4s, so I would assume that spartan 4’s are much better.
Sure seems like it. I don’t feel like fishing for the article right now, but one said that they are as powerful as Spartan-IIs.
So, yeah, they’re pretty top notch.

Okay good. I also Read that Spartn 3’s can be upgraded into one.
I’m happy cause I didn’t like the Spartan 3’s weakness.
In terms of raw ability and attributes, Spartan-IIs and IIIs (and presumably IVs) are the same. It’s when you start adding in things like MJOLNIR and SPI and different equipment and certain situations that you begin to notice differences.
Spartan-III’s don’t have carbide ceramic bones like the spartan-II’s, that’s why they wear SPI armour and not MJOLNIR armour.
> Spartan-III’s don’t have carbide ceramic bones like the spartan-II’s, that’s why they wear SPI armour and not MJOLNIR armour.
Noble Team.
SIIIs.
With MJOLNIR.
It’s a bit of both. The suits themselves are better simply because of how tech becomes better over time, but the people themselves, however, are a tad worse. They’re all adult volunteers as oppose to kidnapped six year olds who were physically augmented for the Spartan-II program.
It looked like they jump a lot higher in the trailer.

Noble team wears SPI. A spartan III couldn’t wear MJOLNIR because it would shatter their bones if they tried to move.
More than likely.
Spartan III’s were just the UNSC’s attempt at making expendable super-soldiers, quickly and cheaply. I doubt the same goes for the Spartan IV’s now that the Human-Covenant War is, more or less, over.
im more interested in how they plan on telling the story on MP. spartan civil war? idrk how they are going to do this
I don’t know, these are adult volunteers, they haven’t been trained to be a killing machine from a young age like the III’s. They most likely have similar gear however

I’m actually pretty sure that some of the volunteers were surviving Spartan II’s (maybe some Spartan III’s, I don’t know). Another thing to note too is that Spartan IV’s will be using the MJOLNIR Mark 7, which might not necessarily work like past iterations (Mark 4 - 6). Though I could be very wrong in that regard.
> im more interested in how they plan on telling the story on MP. spartan civil war? idrk how they are going to do this
What if the MP is a training program for the spartan IVs?
> Noble team wears SPI. A spartan III couldn’t wear MJOLNIR because it would shatter their bones if they tried to move.
> What about their armor? How can they be wearing Mark V? I read that Spartan-III’s were assigned SPI armor and that Master Chief was the first Spartan to adopt Mark V!
> The Mk. V armor was the first of the line to be equipped with energy shields (based, in part, on captured Covenant matériel). S-117 was not the first Spartan to receive the Mk. V armor, as he had been in the field when it entered service on 24 Nov 2551. The most obvious indication of this is how familiar the Marines on the UNSC Pillar of Autumn (C-709) were with the armor.
> So, what was so special about 29 Aug 2552? This was the very first time a “smart” AI had “piggy-backed” in the Mjolnir Mk. V powered assault armor during “live-fire” simulated combat conditions.
> And while it’s true that the typical Spartan-III soldier was outfitted with the cheaper SPI armor, the members of Noble Team are anything but your typical Spartans.
Noble Team wear MJOLNIR.

that sounds more reasonable then a spartan civil war. maybe that is it !
Wait a second, is Chief a VI now? When did he sign up???

so explain to the community why IV’s are much better? just because of the number IV? i remember that spartans IV are volunteer non augmented soldiers… so ??
