to all those who have played halo 4 multilayer online. I would like to ask wether or not people use automatic weapons or they been sidelined by the numerous rifles.
I use the rifles, but AR’s have their place on some maps.
People use automatic weapons(AR,SR,Suppesor), but they are mostly sidelined for the rifles.
Basically, I would never ever use a load out that didn’t have a rifle as the primary weapon. The more I play, i’m starting to exclusively use the DMR out of all the rifles as well. Since the automatic weapons are in the primary weapon slot for load outs that means I almost never use them.
However, if I kill someone that is using a automatic weapon(AR,SR,Suppesor) then I am very happy to have it for my secondary/close range weapon. I mean as long I still have my secondary weapon from the load out.
There are also all the power weapons, close, or far range that I would rather have then the automatic weapons too. So ya they are pretty crappy I guess. They aren’t useless, but are only preferred in rare situations - Close range and if I can’t get a better close range weapon like the sword/rockets/shottys/needler/…
I use the BR and DMR but i’m going to use the Suppressor when I unlock it.
