A Question Regarding the Next MM Update

In the last weekly update, we were informed of this:

> • Super Slayer updated.

> The following changes were made to the Super Slayer playlist: Elite Slayer and some user-created maps were removed, and big-party matching was enabled (teams of 3-4 will be matched with other teams of 3-4).

Now, I am very pleased with these updates to the playlist, but I have one question regarding the portion I bolded:

Why isn’t this not being applied to the MLG Playlist?

I know most of you don’t frequent the MLG Playlist, but it has become virtually impossible to play without a team. You are constantly being matched against teams of four, and getting completely obliterated. I enjoy the settings so much, but the matchmaking system ruins the fun for me.

Please add Big-Party matching to the MLG playlist in the next matchmaking update.

The MLG guys were asked if they wanted this but they said no due to how much it would increase search times when the population was low.

It was MLGs decision to not add it.

Well, that’s a bummer. Most of the MLG community is having a fit about it still.
