Through playing Warzone, I have noticed something quite frustrating. Warzone players seem to have a hard time complimenting their playstyles. Often, I find myself matched with players who are poor at coordinated map control, defense, and req usage. I’m not trying to place myself on a throne; we all have bad days. I am certainly not a pro. However, my question stands: what causes many players to choose such distatseful ways of playing in Warzone? Their strategies are too widespread to be personally vindictive. Also, why do many feel the need to move as a hoard instead of a unit? This is not a critique, just curiosity.
I seem to have gotten better at warzone, but worse at arena, probably for this very reason. Because warzone does not match you with players of a particular skill, (it just matches you regardless). In arena, you are matched with people based on your skill level, or there abouts. In the past 2 months, my k/d in arena has fallen by 0.27. In warzone, it has risen 0.61. I cannot understand that change.

You are half correct. WZ (and all social modes) have a hidden Match Making Ranking number associated with each player. The system will use this number, the connection strength and available players to match with, only it is not nearly as “strict” as Arena is supposed to be.
I think a lot of people play warzone just to play, as in, no strategy, no winning or losing mentality, just zone out and shoot -Yoink-.
I believe there to be very little individual skill in warzone. When you can spawn a phaeton, scorpion or sniper through very little work, jow would there be? I only play cos its a laugh with my spartan company to goof around. Trying to convince me that a lot of skill is involved will be tough
