Will we be able to change our nameplates after the transition?
That’s a good question.
I also have a question: I played the -Yoink- outta H2 but I had to change my gamertag recently because it offended someone and they reported me. Therefore, my information isn’t linked and I cannot access the H2 nameplate, which I’d prefer to rep. Does anyone know who I can get a hold of to correct this?
I tried the Bungie Webmaster multiple times, but I’m guess they have more pressing things to attend to.

Changing your gamertag shouldn’t disable the Halo 2 nameplates usability, I have changed mine multiple times, I still had access to it.
As for nameplate & the final transition, 343 have no plans to offer support for Halo: Reach nameplates at this moment in time.

Hmmm, well I’m using the same email(.net profile) as I did on my old gamertag. And I logged over 1500 games of H2 online. http://www.bungie.net/stats/playerstatshalo2.aspx?player=Heroin247
Any ideas Moa?
So does this mean whatever nameplate we have equipped is permanent, or will everyone’s vanish entirely?
Whatever you have when the transition happens is what you stick with i heard
