I started up Halo Reach earlier and it was fine. But whenever I went to my armory the game would freeze for 5 seconds and then continue normally. Also, whenever I clicked the Start menu and then backed out, the screen would be faded and frozen for about 4 or 5 seconds. It got me really worried so I went to the Xbox Dashboard and opened Halo Reach again. This time it was fine, as if there were never any problems. I have Halo Reach downloaded on my hard drive. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem with Reach or any other game? Is it an issue with my Halo Reach disk, my hard drive, or is it possible that my Xbox 360 Slim console is dying (even though it wasn’t making any unordinary noise)? Like I said, it worked after I reloaded Halo Reach, but I’m still worried.
most computers sometimes experience slow moments with programs and software like that
since you said the problem was “fixed” when you restarted Reach, i woudlen’t worry much
as long as it doesn’t happen frequently, you and your Xbox should be fine
It sounds like it was building the cache back up again. This will happen if you’ve played a lot of other games in between sessions of Reach.

Thanks, but I’ve had Halo Reach in my Xbox for the last few days, and it was fine up until that occasion.
