Hi everyone. Last week I bought a totally new Halo 5 Limited Collector’s Edition, in a local departament store here in Mexico —for just the equivalent of 88 USD, can you believe it?—. Anyway, it turns out that I already have a digital copy of the game, but it’s the regular, not the Deluxe one. So, my question is: Can I redeem the code to get the extras —the Warzone Req Bundle and the Fall of Reach series— without having any issues with my profile/account?
Yes you can. The codes aren’t bound to the disc that comes with the game. Whatever you redeem gives you the extra content for your account. So you’re good to go. But wow, $88 for H5 now is pretty steep.

Well, the thing is that this version doesn’t come with a disc, it actually comes with a code to download a digital copy of the game plus all the bonus content.
Also, it’s the Limited Collectors, the one with the statue of Master Chief and Locke —or, to put it in other words, the “Legendary edition”—, which it used to cost 250 UDS when first released. For 88 USD, I believe it is a pretty good deal.

Oh gotcha. I got confused and misread it as the regular limited edition. Definitely a good deal in that case.
But anyway, you’ll still be able to use your extra content codes regardless. Unless noted otherwise on the game case, any extra content is independent of any game codes it might be bundled with. You still need to own the game to access the content, which you already have from a prior purchase if I understood correctly.
Yes, I already have it. Thank you for your time
