I recently bought the Defiant Map Pack. I have played matchmaking for about 7 total hours over the last 4 days and i have not once played a match on these maps. I would buy the noble Map Pack too and just play squad DLC but i do not have enough room on my hard drive. So i would have to pay another 100 dollars to get a new hard drive.
What playlist(s) do the new maps come up in most often. I want to play them at least once. I dont even know what they look like yet.

They don’t come up often in anything other than Squad DLC, not enough people own the DLC for the increased algorithm to play any sort of effect.
You would need Noble & Defiant to be able to guarantee them to come up and that is on Squad DLC.
Your best chance is to play Squad DLC or Anniversary for DLC maps.
Sadly, Squad DLC is a dead playlist with barely 200 players+ on any given time (I’ve never seen it go past 230) and the search times are too long (in fact they will reset on you many times before you find a match).
Anniversary is consistent in finding DLC maps but only within that playlist and on the Ann. Maps.
If you have a bunch of friends you can play FFA or Living Dead to force the maps to show up.
To improve your chances, you can delete map packs to get the specific one you want to show up.
For example: Delete the Anniversary and Noble to only allow Defiant maps to show up. You don’t have spend more points to buy the maps again.
Otherwise, you’re going to have to stick to custom games.
Save your money - The only real good map is breakpoint.
Rather than purchase a new HD, buy a cheap USB and plug it into your Xbox, it’ll prompt you to format it for Xbox 360 Storage. Use this to download your maps if you’re out of room on your current HD/Memory Unit.
