This is a friendly reminder to those running MCC on a PC, and some things of note:
- Don’t run it on a laptop with low battery! MCC is meant more for a system with a constant power source(e.g.- severs, non-laptop workstations, non-portable consoles, & desktops); playing a matchmade game when the laptop forcibly shuts itself down will result in a ban upon resuming(this did happen to me once). If one intends to run MCC on a laptop for any reason, insure that it’s plugged in. - When installing from the windows store, Insure that you have the full space to let it install, and don’t open MCC and fiddle with the installed games settings when it’s installing! If you have any problems resulting from ignoring what I just said, update windows 10 and the windows store, and try to reinstall the whole game/app. - In general, insure a stable flow of power and a stable ethernet connection, if you don’t, the matchmaking system will Increasingly distrust you for hanging up.(I don’t have a desktop system, or live in Idaho just yet, so this is an educated guess on my end)Thank you! any questions?
