So Forge was revealed yesterday and they confirmed that there would be 3 different environments to forge on which implies 3 different maps. It is also confirmed that there are only 10 maps shipping with Halo 4. If this is the case, than it means we will be getting only 7 real maps to play on. Hopefully the Forge maps will be good enough that we don’t need actual maps. But I would still take real maps over Forged ones. Hopefully the DLC will fill this lack of maps

I don’t believe this to be the case.
In fact they didn’t even refer to the forge environments as actual maps.
I know how you feel, honestly as long as the quality is high I don’t think it’ll be that big of a problem.
one of the best things that reach did was forge world, it pretty carried the game for me. even though the maps were pretty boring visually I have to say that they actually played good compared to maps like spire that straight up sucked regardless of what you played.
I honestly don’t mind just having 7 real maps as long as they aren’t mediocre and play well.
some people have said that the other 2 maps might be dlc, to me this sounds unlikely because the majority of people wouldn’t have access to these maps which would mean that the dedicated forgers not be appreciated as much as should.
That ten maps number is excluding forge. So we’re getting 10 maps plus (maybe) 3 forge maps.

Do not DLC they better put more multiplayer maps than Halo Reach, otherwise if they put than 7 cards more 3 cards forges. They must do better for them so that no Halo 4 then.
Anyway, the DLC in Halo are useless useless to Halo 4 a buisness anyway it will not work. So we must focus qu’ls to link to a good game of a turnip, but wait until after this vote.

I hope you are right about them saying 10 non forge maps. The ability to make forge map is great, but they can never be as interesting or intricate as the maps that the actual designers can create. You simply can’t do everything in forge that you can when you have the code sitting in front of you.

2. Reach’s Forge was dull, this forge seems quite better…
I don’t feel that way at all. Even if that’s true and the 3 forge environments count towards the 10 maps, that’s still 3 forge world like maps. That means there are a ton more variants that can be made and more things people can do when compared even to Reach. So I’m very excited.
Nope, I’m good with everything so far. I just wish the other two forge maps are snow or desert.
