A problem that I'm really lost right now...

My friend was just playing warzone when he EMP a Hannibal Wasp and got on it, killed a few players and then died. After awhile he got a msg saying he was mass reported, for a moment we thought that it was another mad kid and we just went to write to get good at the game. Then the red flag appeared when we got another msg from someone else just writing WTF and after a long conversation we learned that the wasp was friendly before being taken by the enemy and after we took it our entire team got reported and this guy was kicked from the game. After checking some more we found that the other team was just reporting our team for latency advantage and that we were cheating, my friend got kicked after trying to write to everyone but is this what it’s new on halo? report the enemy team when you can’t win or something happens like the traditional WTF death? He took a wasp that wasn’t even his, got a few kills and he gets reported for THAT? I know that there is little chance of anything happening since he stopped playing warzone but that is some bs

Questions about the xbox live reputation system will be answered here. You cannot be ‘kicked’ for being reported.

My friend didn’t get kicked like that, as I already said that he was kicked for not playing as he was responding to the messages he got but there was someone that from what he says he got kicked for supposedly being reported.

If you know why he got kicked why are you asking

He’s not asking why his friend got kicked, he’s talking about how f’ed up this community is. And possibly the rest of society as well.

In order to be booted for idling/afking in warzone you have to be idle for three minutes. If your friend wanted to respond to messages he should have waited until he’d finished the match.

it seems I miss wrote something… I know why my friend got kicked, I know that someone got kicked, I know all of this. My real question is if it’s normal to get reported like this and on the scale of an entire team getting reported for supposedly latency advantage and cheating. Sorry for the misunderstanding

and I understand why my friend got kicked and that he should have waited as you say but when you get a msg saying you were mass reported that raises a red flag and even more when people on your team apparently also got the msg and the reports. So responding is more important than a game where things might be going your way but you’re loosing on another way.

If you follow the link in my first post in this thread it will answer all your questions about the reputation system. Mass reporting will not have an effect on your reputation it takes consistent and varied reports in order to damage your rep. Follow the link, your questions will be answered there.

No OP I don’t think mass reporting happens very often at all. Certainly not enough to warrant not playing a certain game mode. It’s best to just block players like that.
