a problem I came across in many of my games.

The power weapon drop.

In some games where your enemy is winning, their spartans get a lot of VERY strong drops and after some time… you see yourself fighting vs 3 people with sniper rifles.

IMO you shouldnt be able to drop such strong weapons, because then the other team has 0 possibilities to catch up.
On a symmetrical map both teams got power weapons for themselves, it was balanced, but now the team who has the upper hand gets too many advantages.

Ordinances seem to get out of hand very quickly. This is just something that has happened due to this being implemented in this game instead of having set weapons on a map. I have seen, and been on both ends of, a team with all power weapons while the other team is stuck with the default ones. I actually had a personal ordinance that was insanely OP in general. My 3 options were a Binary Rifle, Damage Boost, and a Fuel Rod Cannon. Just a little excessive, don’t you think?

Yup, thats what I mean, drops with needler, SAW, or grenade launcher are totally OK, the people get strong weapons, but no real power weapons.
But having 3 or 4 people with sniper makes the game very stupid.

An idea to solve this problem would be to lower the ammo vastly, letting those power weapons only have 1 round of ammo.
