I have read a lot of post on these forums talking about Forunners being alive after the Covenant war in 2553 .I was wondering What year does the book take place ? Is it before the flood-forunner war or during it ? This book is before the rings where fired right ? Does this book have any part after the Covenant war ? I would really like it if someone whould anwser these questions thanks .
I think the Forerunner part takes place 100,001 years before the end of the first trilogy. ONI however, is listening to Chakas/ monitor in 2553.
