I know this will most likely get lost in the wave of suggestions, but hear me out. what if they made the challenges based around 2 things. getting kills and playing the objective (like they said there are pillars of halo), it would fix the challenge problem substantially since those 2 things are the pillars of halo’s modes. this way passively playing the game either objective mode or slayer would get you a fair amount of XP without drawing players off of the match to do stuff that is stupid like “get a kill with a noob cube” this way they can keep a solid challenge based system in place that rewards players for playing the game and makes the BP more approachable to everyone is it allows players to just play infinite and enjoy it for what it is.
That’s all they should have been.
I’m currently stuck with some silly challenge that requires me to get 3 shock Chain kills. I’ve been going almost exclusively for electric weapons and only have 1 point towards it with no idea how I’ve gotten it.
