A horde survival mode, can support up to 12 players. Wavelike gamemode with flood, players gain points that contribute towards a team wallet, each player can spend a specified amount after each wave. They can upgrade their gun or equip a new one, upgrade heir equipment, or upgrade their spartan. They can also buy Marine AI to support their team. Gamemode goes on until the last player dies.
It would drop with the DLC (not included in the DLC, just drop into the MP when the DLC is launched)
I know campaign co-op is on the horizon but it seems bizarre to me that a PvE mode wasn’t shipped at launch especially given the fact that such modes have been in Halo before.
Sound interesting at seems inspired by other horde based modes from other games. Personally I would prefer a reach style firefight that has a dedicated flood sub-mode. Keep the player count that Halo 5’s firefight had at least although increasing it will be a welcome evolution.
I’m saying that it wouldn’t be very balanced if you could only summon Marines and ODST as a Spartan, while those playing as Elites could summon Grunts, Jackals, Elites, Brutes, etc.
Any of the maps we have in Infinite would feel small for a mode with vehicles.
I’d love that!
There are endless ways to implement the Flood into the Multiplayer aspect of the game.
Scenerios where you have to break enemy lines and get to a certain point would be freaking amazing. Imagine something like a warthog run with 4 or 8 Players. The further you get, the harder it gets, eventually you have to faceoff way bigger flood forms now.
On the contrary, you’re allowed to use bigger vehicles too in order to match those huge flood forms. You get to drive a scarab and shoot thousands of them into dust, another player is guarding you with a broadsword.
