A possible fix for wZFF's team killing

I’m don’t know how H5’s engine works or know much about game design…

However wouldn’t removing player collision allowing players to pass through each other would somewhat fix getting splattered by a ghost or other vehicles?

It may even fix killing yourself when a teammate decides to step in front of you when firing an explosive weapon

What other issues would this cause?

They could still get out of the vehicle putting it back into a “solid” form before it hits you and then you get splattered anyways, I bet that there is trolls that will go to that extent.

I feel like most of the team kills aren’t from trolls and just accidents

First Person Shooter Realism…

I believe that’s the reason why betrayals and suicides exist and why 343 doesn’t listen to “Betrayals are stupid, Suicides are stupid. Why don’t they fill the map with invisible barriers.”

But if this problem gets even worse, this is a pretty good solution.

I think most people honestly don’t care if they run a teammate over because if it’s someone running in an open way but said driver has no betrayals so far, it’s not gonna penalize them in any way for running that guy over, so I agree it might not be intentionally trolling, but it’s still running them over because there’s no penalty.

You got a great assumption there, regardless of halo being not real, there can still be realism such as betrayals and stuff but either way the game is what it is, if someone runs you over intentionally just return the favor on round 5 or something when they call in a power weapon to teach em a lesson.
