yes but this thread will be pushed down through the pages and it will be gone so i thought i’d make a webpage for it so every one will have access to it and look at the vote count and its for fans out side of this site too.
I really haven’t heard enough of Davidge’s work to make a true comparison right now. But what I’ve heard? I like.
this is stupid, both are good composers in their own right, we only heard samples of halo 4 music and not how it interacts with the game itself.
To ask which one is better in the community’s view is like asking if they like Lil Wayne or Eminem. or Superman or Batman.
We haven’t heard any of Daviade’s work, so lets wait till the game comes out
Haven’t heard enough of the music or played the game to have an opinion about it! Being a musician and all…
> really ?
its just out of interest.
> I really haven’t heard enough of Davidge’s work to make a true comparison right now. But what I’ve heard? I like.
for now i voted for marty but im sure neil will have some nice tracks
I like both, but Marty has been effecting me for 10 years.
Where’s the, “These two composers are too different and unique to compare in this manner,” option. As far as I’m concerned, they’ve both impressed me. This is a silly idea. Music is relative, tallying votes between composers is just irrelevant.
This is kinda disrespectful and unfair to Neil Davidge. We all have a connection with Marty’s music for about 10 years now, there’s no way anyone would argue that his music isn’t amazing, and there’s realistically no way to top it.
So you shouldn’t undermine Neil’s work before the game is even out, you’re setting it up so he doesn’t even get a chance to prove himself, and all his hard work will go down the drain no matter what.
We’ve heard scores upon scores of Marty’s music and with Neil we’ve only heard a few samples so why should you vote right now. Being a fan of massive attack I know Neil has great potential for halo though.
I haven’t heard enough of the new guy yet, so Marty is still best in my mind. But what I have have heard, I like.

whats massive attack?
Um, we’ve only heard, what, 2 of Halo 4’s tracks? A little early to call it, wouldn’t you say?

My sentiments, though Marty gave me ten years of beautiful and great music, Neil is definitely showing the promise to deliver.
