A playlist for Hardcore old school player!

I was playing halo 3 the other day, and I found one of my friends who I haven’t talked to in 2 years! So we just talked about halo 4 and a few thinks we like and a few things that should be added. The one thing I brought up was a hardcore playlist for hardcore halo fans. There would be no sprint, no armor abilities, or specializations. Just you and your guns. we want this because halo’s competitive multiplayer started to fade away after the retirement of halo 2. The matchmaking that is. Halo 3 had a competitive feel to every aspect to it. People had fun in cutsom games and people competed to make the best maps t get featured( We also think Bungie favorites should come back as 343’s picks or something.) So yeah a nice touch for old school halo players like myself. In the end we came up with naming this playlist Legendary mode. What do you think?

I’m not a hardcore or a old school player but I agree with you they should put a playlist for those player and I started playing online when came out Halo 3 I only played Halo 2 system link and Local but yeah I would play on this Play-list because I’m a competitive player

Let’s not fool ourselves here folks. No matter what playlists are in (and it’s just common sense that there will be some type of throwback playlist at this point), both sides (people wanting new things vs. people wanting things to change less) are going to demand more. As the ‘new’ era will undoubtedly take over, those wishing for the older playstyles will NEVER feel satisfied. A 4v4 will not be enough as they wish for BTB which will not be enough until they get Team Doubles… it goes on.

At this point, I think the only thing to do is trust that there will be SOMETHING for everybody, as I’m sure will be the case. Just be sure nobody starts demanding all sorts of things to suit their own wants. This is unavoidable, but I still feel it should be stated.
