I am pleased with the reveal!
I did like that 343 was having a playful approach to the trailer. With the chief running off a cliff immediately after rescuing the marines, the “S**kimmers” acting mischievously like Harry Potter creatures, and the nod to the Battlefield Rendezook! Oh, and the “Master Chief will take on returning favorites” then showing Craig yet still implying The Brutes haha! This was a good representation of how people will likely play the game!
My biggest concern is how rich the world will feel, hopefully, most of the areas have enough activity or mystery to explore and not feel dead. This is what Skyrim did great, and is probably one of the reasons people still replay the game!
I have more comments, but tell me what you guys thought!

Well Skyrim basically took world of warcraft and said… hmmmm how can I put this on console, and then they did it.

That’s not how that worked at all. Elder Scrolls was a thing before WoW became a massive MMO.

No trying to derail this topic but world war craft is nothing like Skyrim what are talking about.
The trailer definitely got me more interested! I’m especially curious about the Skimmers and whether they’re a brand-new species - which I feel the franchise could use after using the same 7-8 Covenant races for so long - or if they’re a new sub-class of an established enemy.

That’s a good point, I’m interested in seeing new species in the game for sure! Perhaps even intelligent species in the world that could act like “companions” when you save them and they help out in taking out outposts. This can help in mixing up the strategies and replayability of the game.

I think the Skimmers might be a part of the Harbinger’s forces. They have similar looking armor.
i loved it and the bosses add a flavor that i missed in halo 2 even though the battles were kinda insanely hard on legendary
