Hi all,

I’ve been quiet on these forums since the release of the Multiplayer Beta - mainly due to a lot of the overwhelmingly aggressive , negative and sometimes toxic comments being made towards both the Halo Infinite game and 343 in general.

How do we feel about a topic to exclusively discuss the things we like about the game? I’m not saying that some of the criticisms being made are not valid (they are) but let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water so to speak.

I personally think the gameplay itself in Infinite is on par with the PEAK of Halo games since CE, it’s fluid, fast, strategic and has all of the core fundamentals of a real Halo experience.

To name-drop some things:

  • The dynamo grenade is an excellent addition to the sandbox
  • Thrusters being gone is brilliant
  • Each gun has a real ‘personality’ with a high ceiling for mastery
  • I love the graphics and art style (particularly on the map Streets - the reflections, mirages, etc are great to see in a Halo game)
  • The sprint feature has been perfectly balanced I would say between those who don’t want sprint available whatsoever and those who want it

There is so much more I’d like to thank 343 for, because they are doing a great job - Rome wasn’t built overnight and it certainly wasn’t build in 6 years either!

Former Semi Professional Halo player here , this game was made for Esports and not the 99% of casuals.

PROS

  • Nice Gameplay / Movement
  • Hit Registration
  • Great For Esports

CONS

  • No fan service ; Please stop calling the rocket launcher a m22 spankler
  • Bring back the Halo 3 shotgun
  • Get rid of deployable overshield and camo , (Shiny ball was just fine)
  • No casual playlist
  • Lack of maps and gametypes
  • Confusing Controller Options we are not PC players
  • Everything is behind a paywall
  • LACK LUSTER BATTLE PASS
  • No real LAN

Unfortunately me and my friends have already stopped playing this game , 343 does it again , rather go with their vision than serve the fans. Have fun playing 3 game types for the next 6 months.

Well, this positive thread lasted for one post, but nice idea.

Personally, I think the grappling hook is a nice addition.
