Hello anyone reading this; i have an interesting situation and would appreciate your opinion on the subject. Disclaimer: i spent money on REQ packs. If you look down upon that, stop reading (alcohol + impatience + microtransactions are a bad mix).
Basically i bought gold + silver REQ packs straight from the xbox live store and not within halo 5 so that i could open them in succession. I bought 40 silvers + 10 golds. Because of so many transactions in a row, i believe my credit card company froze it in fear of fradulent purchases. So, like any drunk impatient guy wanting more halo items NOW, to be decked out in warzone, i switched to my other card. 10 of the Silver packs i bought did not show up (i was billed but did not recieve the packs). i tried everything. hard resetting, signing in then signing out, restarting game, deleting account from xbox and putting it back on, EVERYTHING. So i decided to call microsoft and long story short, they refunded me ALL the money i spent on packs rather then just the amount of the 10 silver packs i didnt recieve for the game.
My main question/confusion here is, if they refunded me all the money i spent on packs, will the items within those packs be refunded as well? i know this seems far fetched and i dont think theres any way that could happen, but im just wondering what you think? It seems i got the better end of the deal because i modestly told them i just want the amount that the silver packs total too but they said they cant do that, they could only refund ALL the money i spent and not just partial.
Has anybody ever heard of or expierenced a situation like this? Once again, my main question here is will somehow those packs i opened be taken away from me even when i already opened them?
Be nice with REQ pack buying shaming, thank you. If i suck at explaining the situation, please ask questions. Side note: add me if you want to play and i could even explain the situation easier through voice chat if youre curious. GT: For Hawaii
