A note to mods: Deleteing OP's post

You might have already noticed but when you delete an Op’s post (lets say for leaked content)… If you hover over that person’s thread title in the forum topic section, it will still preview a lot of what they said.

Probably already known but i thought id share anyway.

That really doesn’t matter, what matter is the links, or discussion.

I believe over time after the post has been edited, the preview will eventually change.

Most times, the stuff linking to leaked content is removed and isn’t seeable in the preview, so it isn’t a huge issue.

If someone makes a “SO AND SO DIES!” post, it will be a big deal. I guess in emergencies they could delete the entire thread.

Good to know, I haven’t noticed that.

That’s kind of out of our control since that seems to be a website “feature” but it is known.

Give it a few minutes and it changes to say whatever the edit is.
