Ok, hear me out. Halo 4 is going back to the old “1-50 ranking” right? I cant quite remember the name but does this mean it also is the return of when a level 40 or higher player purposely goes into games and dies a ton so they can de-reank to like a level 13, just so they can have more people to play with. Because if I remember correctly, It gets lonely at the top

Nope, Halo 4 uses a ranking system we currently know hardly anything about apart that there are 50 standard levels.

From what i’ve heard, the true-skill is not coming back, i liked it but it was clearly flawed. They haven’t announce what the system is gonna be yet, but judging from what i can tell from the whole specialization system it’s beginning to smell like the cod prestige system.

A booster account is one with an unnatural number of losses on it. These accounts make it easier for others to rank up when they search and win together.
I was under the assumption that the new 1-50 system was the EXP ranking system.
They haven’t announced anything yet on the ranking system, I’m hoping for an ELO rating system personally.

Halo 4’s ranking system is technically the prestige system in Mw2.1 (Mw3). You can re-enlist which basically means prestige when you reach the maximum level but you can also get into a specialization after reaching level 50 I believe.

Yes. Other than to grief people, there’s no reason to derank other than to make an account for boosting people.

That actually sounds fun. Never really played CoD multiplayer that much. Always felt like it was too easy, so this is all new to me.
