Would appreciate some help…

  1. How do you hijack vehicles?
  2. Is there any differences in the melee attacks?
  3. Any strategy/tips to pass along?

As I discover more things that I don’t know, I’ll make a part 2. Is any information on the game centralized?

  1. Press X when in screen you see “Press X to hijack ----”. It appears when being next to a driver’s seat in a enemy vehicle.

  2. You can melee as usual and also Assassinate.

To Assassinate, HOLD DOWN the melee button when next to an enemy’s back to perform it.

  1. Aim for the head, pay attention to your radar, take care of your shields, choose a balanced Loadout that compensates your debilities, and look at your aim (when it comes to weapons with bloom like the DMR).

1 - You simply have to be close enough to a vehicle and hold X. But some vehicles require you to be in certain areas of it

2 - A regular to the face takes to to kill but if you hit from behind it should be a 1 hit kill

3 - My tips are to try not to get to frustrated with the game and have fun.

just hold the use button when the enemy vehicle is next to you

2 melee attacks to kill from the front/sides, one from the back, or you can do a longer assassination by holding the melee button
also, there is bleed through in this game, where if you get enemies shields down to something like half charge, one melee will kill them from anywhere.

only tip i have is try to not rush like mad. stay back and pick people off with a precision weapon like the carbine/br/dmr from a distance on the large maps.

also, strafe like crazy on those 1v1 situations while you maintain your aim. ALWAYS try to get those headshots

TC, I appreciate when somebody has the intestinal fortitude to say “Hey, I’m a newb, can I get some help here”.
That makes you the 1% of newbs who doesn’t come onto the forums and say “Hey I’m getting killed by X,Y,Z alot, you guys should really nerf them, they’re clearly OP”

Those that are saying that the hijack button is “X” are wrong, in a sense. The hijack button depends on your button layout. To find this press “start” on the controller and then go to the controller option. You can set your layout for buttons here. I personally use the “recon” setup.

Melees can be different. The normal one is just in the front or the side and takes out shields or kills them if they have no shields. You can melee from behind to kill them in one hit. Assassinate is an attack that does the same as the back melee but looks cooler and you get a medal from it.

Tip? haha There are so many…You need to play the game and figure out what works for you. But here are some basic basics:
Always watch radar
Always keep a precision weapon in hand or at least a power weapon that can confiscate. (I still suggest keeping at least one precision weapon)
Use Teamwork…I know its a shocker with how some people play…
Use your abilities and weapons to your advantage.
Use the environment to your advantage. This is a HUGE one. This is the difference between getting cover to live longer and get more kills or standing in the open to die. This is the difference between ambushing your enemies and getting multikills or getting ambushed. The difference between getting to the objective first or finding the objective controlled by the other team.
