Why not a cracked visor?
It would be awesome for machinimas, and would imply that the armor has fallen into disrepair.
Meh, Armour effects would have been in my own opinion. Besides its not like any else would be able to see it unless they’re up close or tea baggin you and melee your face… Just saying.
I actually think that would be a pretty sick idea for a visor. Nice thinking.
Or a shark visor like the one the odst used in red vs blue season 9 if anyone has seen it.with a flamethrower

Well, in the ‘rate the armor above you topic’, people really pay a lot of attention to the visor.
But imagine countersniping, and seeing the enemy, his cracked visor shining.
@INocturne, that would be sick, paired with the oceanic armor.
I like this, and building on the RvB idea, maybe some alternate decals, too. Perhaps with one of the decal options to be your emblem.

Any armor addition that could be used for machinimas is an excellent idea. Maybe we could armor that looks dysfunctional as well.
