have to agree with the op.
I, for one, LOVE the game. Haven’t really gotten the chance to dive headfirst into campaign on legendary ALONE, but I have spent a fair amount of time on multiplayer. MM is great. Actually does take more skill than some of the previous Halo games.
Great game, Great Developer, Great community. Halo.
I returned mine after only 8 hours.
But that’s because I had two copies, just couldn’t wait for my preorder so went to midnight launch and then returned my online preorder to GAME. Extra all nighter of playtime. Well worth it.
But yeah the game is amazing.
I do agree with the forge worlds, they are TERRABLE!!
BUT, I wouldn’t go as far as not having forge at all, I’m sure they’ll bring out more forge maps, not hard to do
And as for cortana being a -Yoink!- symbol… Yeah she is -Yoink!- but the game is pretty much about cortana and chief, about saving cortana and chief finding his inner humanity!!
I personally think its the best halo yet, and no I’m not easily pleased, I’m actually very hard to please so you can’t say anything like that!! Anyway good riddance!!

Well, they recorded actual real guns with high end equipment for Halo 4’s gun sounds, so I doubt it’s the game’s fault. You might just be so used to the fake cool gun sound effects of Hollywood, past Halo games, and other games that real gun sounds seem fake.

OP needs to get better at games. I for one enjoy the increased pace of multiplayer.
Although I DO NOT LIKE the “Press X to Spawn” crap from call of duty. It allows bad players to ruin a team faster.
At least with the required 5 second respawn the good players had time to bring up the score to negate his death.
It should get better once black ops comes out and all the run n gun tards move on to that game.

Not all game modes support the “Quick Spawn”. Objective game types don’t support it, only slayer types.
I should do the same but every other game sucks.

@ OP: If you disliked the game so badly, why bother posting it? Trade the damn thing in so that someone else can pick it up and actually appreciate it.

Story wise I found Halo 4 to be the most involved yet. I certainly enjoyed it the most, and what I have played of Matchmaking so far is extremely enjoyable and a far cry from the awful Reach style.
Rather than saying I suck at Halo cant you people just click on my name to view my game stats?
I was actually curious to see what I had done and my K/D ratio is above 1 which by all accounts is better than when I started playing Reach.
I found the MM to be unchallenging, being able to 3 shot someone across the map with a DMR felt wrong. 343 have added an aimbot to the game, watching the kill cam after each death just solidified my opinion on this… those last two shots I wasnt even in the reticule.(example) Some may call it lag I call it bad game mechanics.
The sniper rifle is… just too easy.
Talking of killcam… Why? This was never Halo we had theatre for that.
Grenades are crap I dont even have to go into this.
Shields no longer serve a purpose, this was another example of something that seperated Halo from other shooters and its been taken away.
Some gametypes / playlists dont even exist anymore, my guess is they’ll be unlocked by buying DLC / map packs… Its called milking.
The campaign - I switched this crap off when I bumped into the librarian the BS I heard was almost enough to make me puke. I couldnt tell if this was Halo or some fairytale bedtime story… I mean come on Spartans were… not writng spoilers
Say what you want but Halo has lost its identity, 343 have designed H4 to a standard where they think the average gamer wont be put off playing due to difficult MM games. It seems they’re thinking with their wallets instead of upholding aspects of the game that made Halo… Halo.

My one and only gripe is that my beloved SWAT is not in War Games… but I pray for it to return soon. 
Op I could have been more accepting of your opinion had you not tried to tell all those who enjoyed it that they are not as discerning or sophisticated a gamer as you, please, 343 have done their best to keep it “Halo” while also attempting to rejuvenate an old and much loved franchise and to do this requires changes which no doubt will show similarities with other games…

343i did a real good job here.
Giving it such a minuscule chance of playtime is a poor choice on your behalf. This is 343i’s first venture into their own Halo world, and personally, it was a great feat. With all of the updates coming out in the coming months, it is sure to be even better than what is already at hand.
