Regarding the sounds, I think the sounds on the guns sounds perfect, BUT the sound of the warthog for me was a big let down. It just didn’t sound right at all.
I’m sorry you feel that way. I feel the opposite. The game feels so good, I know it might be the excitement talking, but I’m pretty sure this is my favorite Halo.

Your complaints are pathetic, I’ve been playing for at least 6 hours, the gameplay is incredible. The strafe is there and is VERY much a role in who wins fights, I’ve had triples and doubles by just out-BRing multiple enemies, movement is just as important as ever.
My first ever game I went 27-3 in Infinity TS, you think I landed the first shot everytime? LOL no, I just know how to move and aim, from your description of the game, it sounds like that’s something you need to develop.
The quality of this game is on par with the original trilogy.
