The end of an era… for over a decade I’ve played Halo despite a few breaks here and there. I’ve never been so disappointed with Halo as I am with H4.
Reasons are many and I cant be bothered to point every single one out but heres a couple.
MM is really bad.
Killtimes have been dramatically reduced for some strange reason - Shields, grenades and AA’s are pretty much useless.
Odds of survival is close to zero if someone got the first shot in.
Furthermore shooting has been made too easy you no loonger need to aim… just point and shoot as fast as you can. - top skillz required!
Im on the fence with ordanance drops I neither like it or dislike it, sometimes its handy sometimes not… Im suprised they stopped short of a tactical nuke ability, hell might as well go all out and truly destroy Halo’s identity.
Forge might as well not be there… No forgeworld! So what’s the point exactly?
Campaign is too short, Cortona has been turned into a -Yoink!- symbol to give little boys a hard on.
I believe members of 343 industries should have a word with themselves for turning a once cutting edge game into a skill-less, generic shooter.
My copy has been returned and I am never buying another Halo game … ever.
If you like it thats fine, some people are easily pleased. I on the other hand expect more from Halo game and its quite obvious that Halo is at the end of its life and anything from now on is just milking the cash cow. Another 3 games? You must be f***ing joking 343. two finger salute
Notwithstanding the fact that everything you mentioned is simply your opinion, I’m sure your words will be taken in to account given the wonderful way you ended your post. Here’s a tip for next time you want to voice your discontent: Don’t finish it off with vulgarity masked with frat boy symbolism.
lulz. ITT: butthurt 3 year old returns game for being bad at it.
How about some proof you returned it? I bet you’re just sitting in your room telling yourself the game is bad, not you. hate the player(in this case, you), not the game.
> Forge might as well not be there… No forgeworld! So what’s the point exactly?
The whole post is obviously opinion, and if it’s not your cup of tea then that’s fine - but this, I don’t understand THIS. There are three Forge maps, so what are you talking about?
Whaddya mean if someone shoots at you first you’ll die? I’ve been raping kids all day that got the first shot on me… servers will be bad for the first week, everyone should expect that.
I bet this guy never played CE. Map placement was everything in that game because if someone got the first shot on you, you did die, and deservedly so.

Here on planet Earth you can, you just get a fraction of what you paid for it.
