After watching the Magic of Halo video, a random possibility popped into my head which gave me some chills…
What would happen… if the UNSC command felt it necessary under some terribly bad conditions (you die or we all die)… to abandon a Spartan to save others? Namely, Master Chief… and what if… just what if… that is why cortana was screaming at the end of campaign trailer? Similarly to the situation involving the Gravemind and MC meeting in Halo 2 for advanced storyline-wise…

Good theory but it’s not the reason for her outburst.
The leaked video shows the Master Chief on the Bridge with Cortana speaking to the Captain. They inform him of a dangerous person (Didact?) who would pose a threat to Earth if he were to escape Requiem. The Captain disagrees and says he can’t trust the hallucinations, (Geas?), of an aging Spartan and his malfunctioning AI. He then says they will leave the Planet and plant a warning beacon and that’s when the lights flicker and Cortana screams “I will not let you leave this Planet!”

Doesn’t have to be confirmed, it is a Cutscene straight out of Halo 4…albeit incomplete but nonetheless a cutscene.

Well Chief’s biological age is like 28-30 (because of time spent cyro sleep), I wouldnt call that aging. Also Del Rio is an old -Yoink-.
