Something I’ve never seen suggested for Halo 6 is something so many other games have. I’m talking about FACIAL CUSTOMIZATION for your MP character. I’m not talking like Destiny’s mediocre customization, but a Bethesda level Fallout 4 like facial sculpting feature. Now, of course this isn’t something the game NEEDS, but imagine all the cool new features it could lead to.
-Custom game option to remove helmets from Spartans for game modes like SWAT or Infection
-Killing an enemy Spartan with a headshot will result in their visor shattering and their face/eyes show through
-You can select to be helmetless if you so desire, shields will just apply to your bare head as if nothing is different (if Johnson can do it why can’t we?!)
-Your Spartan ID can show your face listed with your service record
There are just so many cool little opportunities that this would present, not to mention immerse players more in the lore like 343 so desperately wants. What are your opinions on Facial Customization?
Now if it were to have this… well damn, I’d probably spend more time creating a character than playing the actual game… which is what I do on Fallout literally everytime I’m on it. I’d love to make my own personal Spartan, but I doubt Halo would ever have a character creator like this, and it makes me a bit sad.
I don’t want to be rude but I think it is unnecessary since the helmet covers the face
Don’t see it. We have helmets
While a nice idea, the only reason I see to add this would be if they brought back Spartan Ops and used your own character in the cinematics. Now, that I typed that… That would be cool and bring back a feeling of Reach.
I would rather not have helmetless Spartans. This isn’t Warhammer 40k, after all, helmets actually do something in Halo.
Godfather customization was supposed to be extremely good, something like that would be cool.
But I think the point of our spartans (and elites) is to have them be faceless so that we can put ourselves into them.
I already am annoyed by the fact that they decided to put mp voices into the game, but that’s because people would never talk with mics, and seeing halo 5 is supposed to be the competitive game of the year it was almost a necessity for them to have communication.
