A New Idea to Fix Nemesis Mod

So, if you haven’t heard this MOD allows you to mark the player who killed you last time.

One thing that i don’t like about this is the fact that it punishes the good players (that usually get more kills and so will be marked more frequently), also i can see it be OP if used in groups…if 4 players use the Nemesis Mod in the same team, the control you can gain IS pretty much OP.
Also,if the game helps you getting your revenge, it wouldn’t be as satysfing as getting one yourself if you have a true nemesis in the match.

I have an Idea to fix this problem: For the whole game the player who has less kills (or points) in the other team would be marked for people with the Nemesis Mod.
This encourages people to get better in order to not be marked anymore and , also, it wouldn’t be comulative since if a team of 4 players use this, every player would be able to see only THAT player (which is still a great advantage).

What do you think? Do you Agree?

The nemesis mod spots us for 10 seconds on the match, while the player who is being spotted gets to see that player for 5 seconds…

Not when they kill you, for the whole game, not depending on gameplay stuff.
Basically with the Nemesis Mod you would be able to ALWAYS mark a player, which will change when the “Marked Player” gain the second last position in his team (based on points) moving your mark to the new “Last” player in the other team.

I’m pretty sure gears of war 3 has this too after your killed by the same player for 5 times. It really isn’t a handicap as much as me wanting to intimidate that motherf’er who has been killing me 5 times this round…

Although, the GOW3 one is slightly different, it only highlights the player once your within a decent range, and after he’s gone behind cover it’ll not show up again. I’d like if it was like that.

I have played GoW 3 a lot…it’s not as you described.
Every player in the game can be “spotted” if you aim at him and press the right stick, if the player you have spotted killed you 5 times in a raw, it would be marked with another sybmol just to let you know, but it works just as a normal spot.

The mod nerfes itself if I read it correctly.

It says it will mark a target when they last shoot you, even if they didn’t kill you.

This implies that it will bounce around from enemy to enemy, causing confusion.
You can use it to even be bait of he is focusing on looking at the target with an arrow on the head.

Even if you were to survive, what’s the point of having it if you still can’t kill anyone? It’s not an auto-aim mod.:

Oh okay, well i’d be okay with that in Halo, point your gun at him for 3 or so seconds and it’ll let you know if he was the last guy that killed you. But it’s not gonna be that way haha

No, he doesn’t have to shoot anyone.
If he is the last of his team, no matter what, he will be marked for every Nemesis Mod user. The mark will only “bounce” when the previous marked player gets enough points to not be the Last player in his team.

Or we could just remove the nemesis mod.

it should punish everyone not the bad player that’s stupid, just makes it harder for the bad player

THE WHOLE GAME, I HOPE YOU ARE A TROLL. This will never work. imagine its your first game of halo ever and everyone can see you at all times,i mean thats just stupid.

How if the good players are more likely going to be marked more frequently for playing well?
Also this woul punish bad people who get kills! Totally unfair!
At least my method encourages bad players to get better.

It will make sniper super annoying cause they can scope in on a spot when they know your about to appear. I hope you like caching a bullet in the face when ever you turn a corner.

Fix the nemesis mod?, but it’s not broken.
