You choose what story you want to play first. Or you have to play the Spartan side to a certain part of the story and then you unlock the start of the other campaign that ties into all of this. You can either continue the Spartan side and complete it first or you can start the other side.
A Halo story based on an evil scientist that experiments on all aliens, not just the Covenant. We don’t know who it is at first. We just keep getting in conflicts with these crazy experiments of covenant, flood, whatever else there is. They all speak English but also have their native language, so we believe their creator can speak English or has a someone that teaches English. But these aliens are more evolved than we can imagine. Buffed out grunts that no longer run, but they will hide and can assassinate you. The flood can turn invisible but also aren’t a parasite as much as before, they’ve humanized but still have their origin abilities. Some how whoever is in charge also has Spartans that are more advanced than what we have. These Spartans are training these aliens of all kinds. But also getting trained by the Elites that have evolved to be advanced like the Spartans have become. Heightened senses, basically Captain America but more. Obviously we still have the grunts and elites that are just basic soldiers. Again, we have no idea who this scientist is. But it could be a scientist that was in an older story or was in the background of Halsey, who we couldn’t see in the normal stories. But when we finally figure out who it is, it shows flashbacks of them being in Halsey’s shadow and being pushed away and Halsey stealing their ideas. Kinda like Tony Stark put Mysterio in the background and created an evil dude.
