A New Halo Reach

I would love to see 343 do a New Halo Reach on the story line in the books ( The Fall of Reach ), ( First Strike ) by: Eric Nylund. The Reach Bungie made was good in it’s own way, but it dose not go with the story line that has been out there for over ten years. Os with 343 doing game based on the books I hope 343 can do a Reach game based on the books.

Maybe it’s not such a bad thing that they changed it. How would you like to play as the same character over and over again for an entire series with no variation? I wouldn’t

I dont know if it would be a good idea. I mean maybe if they went farther back in time before the Fall of Reach, but not a new remastered version.

A Reach game purely based on the books wouldn’t be very exciting. Most of the action was in space and Chief’s encounter on Gamma Station would barely have enough content to be a portion of a mission than a standalone mission. Adapting First Strike would be better, but you’d have to move follow many Spartans to get a good perspective on the entire battle because once Blue Team gets to CASTLE Base, you won’t have much action for a while.

Reach was pretty much concluded, but it would be cool to have a book or comic adaption brought to life. Halo: Escalation would be awesome to see

I agree. but I myself would not mind if they did it the way halo 3 ODST where you switch from character to character to get morn story of other Spartans two. If they added the events of the books ( The Fall of Reach ) and ( First Strike ) by: Eric Nylund. I think it would be a cool game because of the time travel or time play that Dr. Halsey talks about in ( First Strike ) they could play it off well and it would answer some of the questions for those who have not read the books, like how Johnson make it off the Halo rings. They could also tell those of us who read the books what happen to some of the Spartans two who just went Missing in the books.
