So i was playing Halo 3 making a machinima with my friends when i noticed a new Halo 3 notification and it reads:

Huh. That’s interesting. I didn’t know 343i had the tools to edit those messages. Cool! I’ll have to take a peek after work.

Yeah I saw this a few weeks ago. I imagine they added in around Halo 4’s launch.

Yeah that’s probably some old stuff. If it was new it would say that DLC is now free.

Not sure if that’s 343i’s doing, but Microsofts. When Bungie left Microsoft, Microsoft kept the rights to Halo franchise so that way they can do what ever they please practically and backwards compatibility program is Microsofts doing. As far as I know 343 has nothing to do with classic Halo games or BC conversions. They’re just responsible for H4, MCC and H5. I’m not 100% sure thou.
