had a guy send me an xbox message stating he reported me for “hacking/cheating” just now in a match. I can only assume he was staggered that someone could use loadout weapons to get as many kills as him while vehicle spamming. The best part is, I didn’t even come top of the scoreboard, it wasnt one of those matches where i’ll see a person get kill credit for every boss, never get shot and have a a massively higher kill score. I was just a regular mid pack player… /shrug
Never had that happen before, was most amusing, he promptly logged off after sending his report too lol
I’ve had it happen a few times, which is odd because I literally just run around killing people. I don’t care about stats and don’t camp. People just get a bug up their butt. Only thing that makes them madder is if you have a bad game. Always found it odd that gamers turn on each other so frequently. If you want all great players on your team, then fireteam it up, or keep quiet. If your playing with randoms and their so bad it bothers you, help them out with tips.
I often find I do best with just a BR. Calling in all those REQs usually makes people play more defensively because they don’t want to lose them. I’m assuming something like that happened here and he was just mad because of it.

funny you mention that, I forgot to add that this happened to me in a game of heroic firefight… it was not even a pvp match, it was the easiest form of pve gameplay (i like heroic FF, dont hate me! lol), and the guy still was like “hacker!” lol
Try not to worry about it (assuming you are.) Stupid people will abuse anything if they get the chance, so when someone is losing a match and have the option to falsely report someone for cheating, they’ll do it. It’s stupid that some people can’t handle losing all the time like I do. It’s almost as if they think that nobody is better than them. Hmm…

Good luck with the tips part lol. Even some of my nicest friends ignore me when I try to help out. Then they idolize me when I get a lot of kills when they could be doing the same exact thing if they listened lol.

Likely he had opened a brand new, rare REQ feature/weapon and was pissed that he didn’t get a chance to use it before he was killed. After working hard to open/activate something and then get killed before getting to enjoy it would definitely get some players pretty steamed up.
so like a week later now, I just finished playing some games and was in the process of shutting down the game and console and happened to scroll past the messages part and was reminded about this guy. I clicked on the thing again but noticed for some reason his message to me was now highlighted in red, I clicked on his profile and sure enough he now has “Reputation: Needs Work” which according to a google search means that guy has been misbehaving! lol
What a great treat that was. I hope it takes him YEARS to work away his poor rep. Hopefully he matures a bit along the way too lol. Meanwhile the rest of us will continue to play and have a good time doing so.
