I’ve always loved the Flood in previous games, but do you want the Flood in Halo 5? Just asking.
The flood are hands down my favorite race, so I’d love to see them again!
I would love to see the Flood return, one thing I am worried about though… Will 343 be able to pull it off? The feeling that they give? The atmosphere? After seeing things like “The Mona Lisa” I am sure they can, but you never know. Flood are not zombies XD
If they do implement it in Warzone they need to capture the ambience that the flood gives, heck it might even need its own gametype. It needs to have all different forms swarming the map along with flood spores that infect dead marines and players alike. This would definitely give you a reason to always be watching your back. Heck, teams would probably spend more time fighting the flood than each other if done right. I think that sounds awesome.

The Mona Lisa scared the crap out of me, I knew it was Flood from the start but it was still so creepy.

or maybe they are not in 5 because lore wise there is only one flood spore that I am aware of aboard the spirit of fire. Its plausible there are more on the halo ring we see in the legendary ending for halo 6 but as of now I don’t see how they could come back that wouldnt break canon. Yes I know 343i has broken canon before with the whole domain stuff but for all we know it will be explained next installment, we can only wait and see

But didn’t Halo Wars happen much before the rest? If so, that would mean that the Flood could still be surviving because there is probably test subjects on each ring.

If you read the “flood” visor description youll see that there are “squadrons of spartans sent out to investigate areas where potential flood species are housed so that they can eradicate them” or something to that affect so no there are quite a few other potential flood sites that elite spartans squads are sent to destroy with specific technology including visors etc

Ratings never stopped anyone anyway. I played Halo at age 4. Left4dead at age 7. Grand Theft Auto at age 9.

Because it’s ALWAYS been canon? Come on, even before 343 came along, we ALL knew the multiplayer was a training exercise. No other explanation for it.
I’d be down to see the flood come back. The only problem would be that it makes halo 3’s ending pretty meaningless. So I think they should just be an enemy in warzone or hopefully firefight

First- Love that name. Just… Perfect.
Second- Spirit of Fire, Halo Rings, maybe even the fringes of space. All places that contain Flood. Sadly, as much as I want them back as well, they won’t return in Halo 5 because of the T rating. Flood counted as gore.
I wasn’t much of a flood fan. Only reason I played it in Halo 4 was to work on my shotgun commendation for weapon mastery. So I wouldn’t play it in Halo 5, but if other players want it in Halo 5 since it’s one of their favorite game types, I’ll vouch for em.
I want Flood back in Halo 6.
