I have a extremely well thought out and designed business model, company, console, and controller.
I’m thinking of pitching the idea to Google or a investment firm . .
But I don’t know how to get into contact with the people I would need to =(
ps I already have the company name and console name, as well as the design of the console and controller’s.
You do realize that a console is more than a name and its (and its controller’s) design, right?
Have you fleshed out the console’s wholly novel and revolutionary hardware infrastructure and API? Have you considered new, innovative data transfer protocols that allow game designers to do things not even remotely possible with the current consoles’ hardware yet do so at a competitive price?
Also,
>Google
I would like to see those plans of yours.

As a matter of fact I do have all of that planned out =)
And I cant’t/won’t talk about the business model or company . .
But I will say a couple of vague detail’s about the console and how developers would be able to make games for it.
Developers once they have dev kit’s will be able to jump right into making the next generation of video games.
I would push really hard for the a prototype of the console to be available to show at e3 2013.
ps Detail’s about how that would be done I won’t talk about.
Are you an engineer (implying you’re not underage lol)?
I doubt you’ll have any luck whatsoever with this (sorry), but it sure wouldn’t hurt to advertise your “project” if you’re so confident in it, mainly by posting something – anything – concrete and of value.
Maybe some schematics or part of the API you claimed to have planned out…
It would at least shut me up (or not: I would congratulate you if I liked your work), because, to be honest, I’m fairly skeptical.

No I am not a engineer, I am very smart though.
Why do I need a label to have a fantastic idea ?
Anyway I really don’t feel comfortable posting designs and hardware specs =(
I don’t want my idea to be stolen . . I don’t have patents for anything yet =(
Getting back to the point of the OP, how can I get into contact with the people necessary to get backing and funding, preferably from Google, a investment firm, or Sega.

Google doesn’t reply/respond to things like this because of copyright reasons and unless you have some kind of degree in Engineering or anything else they’d look for they wouldn’t give you the time of day.
As for Sega I wouldn’t even consider them an option, they mostly make games and bad ones at that. Chances are within 10 years Sega will be in turmoil anyway.
No I am not a engineer, I am very smart though.
In the Business world, that counts for nothing, you need the credentials.
Why do I need a label to have a fantastic idea ?
In your opinion it’s a fantastic idea, but we as potential consumers would need to know more than what you are saying, at this point nobody is really interested in your idea.

Get Patent on it and come back then, you can’t expect people to be in awe at text that gives out little to no information.

I really would want to post a link to a image of the controller . .
But I don’t want my idea to be stolen . . Is there a way for me to post a link to the picture and still keep it safe ?
>Patents
They’re pretty terrible: you’re pretty much paying (a lot!) to make every little detail about your product public.
A couple of years ago (I was about 15 or 16) I made a system for monitoring the temperature and humidity of multiple storing, refrigerating chambers for a cheese factory. It was connected to a database accessible anywhere on the world and featured a very user-friendly and precise calibration process (and a field-programmable alarm in case the temperatures or humidities reached inappropriate values).
It was fun.
Why don’t you build the console yourself and sell it? Google sure isn’t interested, and I’m sure no company would invest in some random person with no credentials backing their ideas, no matter how great they may be.
>Is there a way for me to post a link to the picture and still keep it safe ?
If you post it on the Internet, it’s there forever. There won’t be any problem, though, I’m sure. Just upload it to imgur.com or something like that.

I do plan on making a prototype of the system and controller this year. But there is only so much I can do on my own.
I would need to get funding to mass produce the system, further the User Interface, secure 3rd party developers, market the system, and everything else needed to form a company.
I’m also planning a exclusive IP for the console. I already have a rough story arc, and the art work for the main character.
I would suggest contacting a tech firm not already in the console business. Google or an investment firm would have to do the same most likely and the result would be less $ for you and more development time.
Perhaps Intel, but I should warn you, my understanding is that tech companies are looking at putting the console in the TV. So it could be a tough sell, but good luck to you and if the idea pans out, dont forget about Plunder ;D

But how would I find the email address/phone numbers in order to get into contact with those companies ?
And it isn’t really about the money for me.
I love video games they are my hobby, this console will be a pure gaming machine . . =)
ps I would want the console to have some Intel tech in it, I of course can’t say what kind of tech it would be =(

If you are serious, you need to patent your idea before it is presented to anyone. If you dont and your idea does have merit, then you will be turned away and your idea stolen.
Once you have patents, create a detailed presentation, a working prototype, product testing, production cost etc etc and go to the corporate office of your intended target and find a way to weasel some face time with the product development department or research and development.
You have a very long road ahead of you, but all things are possible with effort and dedication.

Thank you very much =)
I just need to start saving up money, so I can buy the parts necessary to make a prototype.
Part’s to make the prototype would cost about $2500.00 =( and then $500.00 to $750.00 to make a prototype of the controller =(.
But I really think it would be worth it . .
Once the system picks up steam and is funded properly, the parts could be bought in bulk from the providers, and the cost would go down by a lot.

Consider getting a partner knowledgeable in the field with initial capitol to invest. Maintain majority share in the idea, something like a 60/40 split. This will allow for an easier start up and also give you another representative to push the product.
Its important to know the costs and I wish you luck mate. Perhaps one day in the future it I will be seeing this advertised about.

Thank you very much =)
I hope so too . . I really am coming up with the whole thing on my own. I don’t have anyone helping me, and that’s ok for now I guess.
I don’t have a fancy degree, but I have been playing video games my whole life, and I’m very good with computers.
I’m really putting the pieces together to make something really amazing. I really can see this becoming the fourth major console. It would compete with the Xbox’s, Playstation’s, and Wii’s of video game industry.
I also think developers will want to port game’s to it and make exclusive games/IP’s for it . .
Games like Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Call of Duty, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, the list really can go on and on.

Thank you =)
Are you knowledgeable in this field ?
From your post’s and forum stat’s you do seem like a very helpful and reputable person.
There will be no new console maker, with the possible exception of Valve because they have the reputation and the way to make money to construct it. But they have put down those rumors. There are 3 console makers, this is balance. Lets leave it balanced
