A New Approach to the REQ System

Currently, when you open a Silver or Gold pack , you are given 2 random permanent unlocks (ex. Armor, visors, emblems, etc)

  • You attain a random rarity of items - Completing lower rarity items increase chance of higher unlocksHow About a New Suggestion : Upon opening a pack, you are given 2 choices to pick your permanent unlocks, depending on rarity level of the pack.

Ex. When opening a silver, you may unlock 2 items of your choosing in rarity of common to rare .

But heres the catch . . .

  • You must complete a rarity level for a category of items in order to progress and unlock the next. For example, you have every uncommon helmet , but not every uncommon armor peice. Upon opening a silver, you may choose rare unlocks for helmets, but no rare unlocks for armor peices, only uncommon and common. - This way, players get to earn what they want instead of gambling for specific items in the game just to unlock something unwanted, or variants of armor we already have. At the same time, it would be an equivalent grind of the current system since you would have to grind through the rarity levels. Also, we wouldnt be seeing level 50 players and below with high unlocks that us experienced players ( 80 and up ) dont have just because they got lucky . We all know how that feels.Anyways, that wraps up everything. Let me know your opinion on my idea, wether its a great one, or it stinks. Thank you for your time!

I would very much like to pay an amount of money to get armour straight away, OR pay with req points like the credits system in reach

lol just voted and everything went to 33% is that cuz of my GT?

Probably lol

I agree

Should let you use your REQ points for armor straight up. Maybe just make the cost of req points needed higher though.

Would that not take away from the PRNG element of it?

in that case, you might as well just directly buy the items you want.

It would be nice to choose what you want, but that is not going to happen. Where is the incentive to continue to grind REQ points or pay cash for the REQS. It is a way to keep us coming back.

You are still grinding just as much to move pass the rarity levels, if not more.
