So as we all know, 343i unlocked recon for everyone (I assume in an attempt to bring more Halo fans back to Halo 3). Does anyone think that it might have been a cooler idea to maybe lower the requirement level for the haunted helmet? I’m pretty close (almost at reclaimer) but I think it would make it easier on others. I think this also.would be more appealing because, well it’s obvious, the Reach servers are much more filled than the Halo 3 servers.
They gave recon to everyone in halo 3 because after the transition period from Bungie no one would be able to unlock it through bungie.net through the achievements. So, instead of getting a bunch of complaints about how people can’t get recon, they simply just gave it to everyone.
Also, no, I don’t want it to be easier to get the haunted helmet because to me it’s a symbol of dedication to the game. You don’t put the time into the game, no haunty helmet for you.

But I agree. Its a sign of the time and devotion you put into the game. Unfortunately, some of us don’t have that time to spend slaughtering helpless enemies, so we don’t get the Helmet.
