Those who know me know how passionate I am about Halo. This is due to a plethora of reasons, ranging from fond memories to a fascination with its universe. No matter how bad things have gotten, I’ve always loved - and will always love - Halo.
In my last few years on social media, I tried to become an active contributor to the Halo community, gaining around 200 followers and several enemies on Twitter. And while I’ll never regret saying what the community needed to hear, I do regret not giving you a reason to listen. However…
It’s become impossible to deny that there’s no saving this community. Despite its faults, Halo Infinite is a good Halo game regardless of what side of the community you’re on. Yet this uniter has been met with fabricated outrage and hypocrisy.
At this point, we’ve ran in circles to the point where our legs have been reduced to stumps. I’ve said all but one thing I ever could, and I’ve read all you can ever say. And for that reason, this is my final request to you before I return to just being a casual browser:
You can’t change those who don’t wish to be changed. Instead of fruitlessly exhausting yourself on decade-old debates, consider playing some Halo.
