I do not know how many times this has been said but come on! Noobs need to understand! " Spamming " is only when there is bloom and people do not pace their shots, THAT is spamming. When there is zero bloom, it is called shooting, why ? because it is you and only you who controls where the shot is going to go. And that takes skill.
Firing at a weapons maximum RoF and getting the least shots for a kill(ex. 5sk with the DMR) is SHOOTING, and it takes skill.
Noobs don’t want to realize this and complain about zero bloom because when they play a game that has some skill involved they get there butts handed to them, and they need the crutches that Reach has.
TL;DR:
Spamming is only where there is bloom.
Shooting is with zero bloom and it takes skill.

You are right, maybe I crossed the line… but you know what I mean 
I agree that spamming is an impossibility when there is no bloom, spamming means firing past the optimum rate of fire and when the optimum rate of fire also happens to be the maximum rate of fire its impossible to spam. However calling people names is not very nice.

Which reminds me, Had to argue with a member on this forum about that very subject. He dint get. I dont think they ever will get this simple concept. Sad I know.
My idea of spamming is shooting without thinking.
The magnum feels like the answer to new players who can’t use precision weapons effectively against more experienced players. ( Don’t flame me!! )

Agreed, even with the pistols Spread, its far too strong.
When quantity outweighs quality, it is spamming.
If you’re shooting as fast as a weapon will fire, hoping I will strafe into your shots rather than firing when proper, that is spamming.
If I have 4 grenades and I toss all 4 as fast as I can into an area, I am spamming that area with grenades.
If I have an SRS99 and I am constantly 2-shotting the enemy because I am aiming for centre-mass and not caring for the head, I am spamming sniper-shots.
If I BXBXBXBXBXBXB or BLTBLTBLTBLTBLTB I am spamming melees.
Why anyone would spam melees in Reach is beyond me. It’s melee+headshot, not melee+melee

I would say that is true when players are spamming. However, it can be used very skillfully for devastating results. Of course then it’s a matter of the other having a Pistol for balance’s sake once those results become consistent.
