The most common thing that I am asked is "why" -why Do you play with the leaders that are not considered OP -why Do you constantly go against the “meta” -why Do you put yourself through the agony of fighting against the forge hog with lesser leaders? -why Are you constantly looking for new and exciting ways to play and win vs what is thought to be the end all be all Meta? -why Do you keep getting on every day and streaming yourself struggle against Broken units and Exploits? -why Do you purposely handicap yourself even when you know you have a 90%-95% win rate with Forge?
The Second most common is "how" -How Do you stop yourself from abusing the OP leaders? -How Do you still have 2 accounts in the top 10 neither of which are Forge or Serina Or even UNSC for that matter? -How Do you beat most Forges and Serninas with colony and Decimus and other under-powered leaders?
There are money more questions but these are some that come to mind. A simple answer is yet again another question. Why Not? Why not be the best without abusing exploits and OP leaders? Why Not? Why not feel amazing after a win with an UP leader vs an OP one. Considering there is almost no better feeling in gaming. Why Not? Why not stream what the people want to see. I mean. This season. My twitch viewers were the only reason I turned on my xbox every day. They are amazing guys.
Taking a look inside my head. Here is the simplest answer I can think of. In my mind and the mind of many others. Nobody cares or remembers the guy who abused the game the best. They remember the guy who could beat that person even if it was one game out of many. If you can win through a sheer amount of raw talent and skill against all odds and come out victorious using something that is considered not the meta against something that is defined as a picture perfect performance of the meta. Then I feel you have done more in that 1 game than the abuser has in their entire season up to that point.
I leave you with a gaming quote I have lived by for over 10 years. And its my own personal code that I play by every single day. DON’T BE A PRODUCT OF THE META, MAKE THE META A PRODUCT OF YOU

Also some of you might not know this but the Yap Yap stream was done so in a completely amateur fashion. (not saying it was bad. I mean they did it on their own without professional equipment.) I cannot tell you how much myself and others respect that you guys did that with such little resources. And most of all the fact that they took some mid game requests to make ther stream better from myself. Such as audio and in game zoom options and such. Allowing us to hear the full extent of the casters voices as well as hear the voice of the new grunt leader. Say what you want about the guys at 343 but after hearing about observer mode coming and the fact that they actually listen to their viewers (even the annoying ones such as myself) in order to make their game and viewers experience better speaks volumes to me and many others. You guys are doing a great job and I hope you dont let the forum trolls ever get to you. Even I am guilty of this from time to time.

I’ve always wondered why people say a leader is OP and then don’t play as them. We all know that with every update there’s going to be something that drastically changes the meta. I put this to everyone the only way we can have a truly balanced game is to have one unit. Just try to adapt your tactics as best you can. I will admit that something’s are hard to work around.

I gotta say, my dude. Your stream is the most entertaining to watch simply because you often use “off-meta” strats.
I can’t even begin to tell you how boring it is to watch some of the “top players” use the strongest leaders. All. The. Time. I would rather watch paint dry than watch a stream where an entire team is using Forge. Or last season, when an entire team would use Jerome. So dry. So boring.
It’s refreshing to watch you play as leaders that aren’t as strong or don’t get played as much. Additionally, it’s awesome to see you beat the strongest leaders with said less played leaders.
Keep doing you, my man. Always enjoy watching your stream. Looking forward to seeing how you tackle next season!

Look, I understand the intent behind this post is solid. I get it’s positive and i like a lot of stuff in it.
BUT
Rules are rules, friend. As much as I like the post I can’t let someone keep an alt because I like a post they made. What I love seeing is a positive post from you because despite all of the run-ins you and I have had over rule breaking, I know you can become a solid voice of the competitive community. We both know it’s toxic as hell. If people want Wars to be given a spot in the HCS or some other tournament style play, it would only help that the players can be taken seriously and conduct themselves as the professionals they claim they want to be. This post is a good start. It helps the community at large to see good players do something other than “Oh ur not champ lol stop talking.”
That said, feel free to repost it when your main is unbanned.
