Right we know Team Doubles is coming back , I believe it’s the fourth of February , but dont quote me on it
Many people agree that there isn’t enough small maps in the game .The Forge Test Playlist is a good idea and does help solve the problem . But to me it’s more fun playing on a whole separate map rather then forge maps. Regardless that’s not what I’m here to talk about .
So I was thinking why doesn’t 343 bring back Rat Race of Halo CE. A small map that would fit in well with team doubles. Many people I know loved it and Rat Race wouldnt be destroyed by the DMR as it is a small map with short lines of vision.

Bring it back or not?
I never really cared one way or the other for that map. It didn’t really strike me as a doubles map specifically. I would love to see Guardian come back for doubles.

Lol i loved this map , and I would like to see Guardian to another excellent map in my opinion that would be cool to see back . Yeah ‘Rats Race’ was originally 4 v 4 But with instant respawns and sprint I think this would work alot better with 2 v 2

It’s one of those maps that doesn’t really stand out to me for some reason. I’ve been playing it since the Halo CE days and I still can’t really get a feel for the layout or weapon spawns. I believe the last time I played it was when they remade it in forge for the Reach classic playlist. (not the Anniversary playlist, the classic one with forge maps)

Yeah the Reach version werent as fun to me but Reach wasn’t as fun as Halo CE - 3 to me. Agree the map aint amazing but i think it’s good and would suit team doubles quite well . The Pit from Halo 3 might be a good 2v2 to as well as Elongation of Halo 2 .

I do love me some Pit. There are some pretty good forge remakes of it floating around right now. I also really miss High Ground and Containment. Although those two might not be great doubles maps.
I never thought Rat Race was small, I usually played it 8 on 8 back in CE. 8 on 8 heavy weapons (rockets only). How I would love to see this map remade the way it is now. I’m just imagining someone assassinating someone else who is camping on the top level. How about a Remake of Boarding Action for Team Snipers?

Yes I would like to see this map brought back, but I’d prefer something else.
