I just want to start off by saying I love Halo. I Love Halo so much Ill defend how cool Spartan Locke looks until my dying breaths. One of my fondest memories as a kid was my mom taking me to the mall and waiting in line for the midnight release off my of course pre-ordered Halo 2 limited edition at the then called EB Games. For Halo 3 I had a GameStop near my house and went for that midnight launch as well. I still have that Master Chief helmet game case thing on my shelf. I joined the army and because of it I missed the launch of Halo 4. But I got to come back for halo 5. I bought an Xbox one bought the collectors edition of the game as well as the MCC. I enjoyed the rather different multiplayer from previous titles and MCC had been patched before I ever got a hold of it. So I was high on it as well plus nostalgia.
However Ive gotten older. Ive learned at a lot more. When your Xbox cant handle Halo anniversary without dropping into the 40 frames per second range your gpu is not good enough. In Halo 5 when I see walls with so little detail I start to wonder things. Things like Why is there no PC version of the game? Every performance issue that game has will be instantly fixed by releasing it on PC. I own an xbox one still. The only thing I turn it on for is Madden and do you know what I think every single time I do? Man this game sure would look amazing if it were on PC.
I have avid life long FPS PC friends who have never and will never own a console. I now know for a fact they would buy a Halo for PC because a thing came out Im not allowed to mention on here even though we all know what im talking about. They loved it and I loved showing them the game I grew up with that meant so much to me. For the first time they got it. Its not even the “takedown” that is upsetting. I knew it was coming the first time I played “the game”. Your response is what really let me down. Ill just quote you for context.

You using the word “prospects” is just a PR way of saying we have nothing and nothing is coming out. Then it just gets worse. "please know that the PC community is very important to us and top of mind as we work towards the future. " Really? We are “Top of Mind” when there has not been a Halo FPS released on PC since Halo 2? I dont know what else to call that other than a lie. An no Halo Wars does not count.
I just want to be clear not that anyone is reading by this point but I want you to know I love Halo. Its my favorite series ever. Hell I cried when Cortana died and I was a grown man by then. But there is nothing you can do that will make me want to play it on xbox. There is no way I will ever pay money to play my games online ever again when every single one of them on PC is free. If Halo 6 comes out on PC thats great Id buy it an Id thank you for it. If it dosent well Ill be passing on it then But thats not what I want. I want my classic halo I grew up with on PC with my other 300 games. For gods sake you own Windows! So why do you continually treat PC gamers as unwanted 2nd class customers? No hate to 343 either. Even though the game that cannot be mentioned is far Superior to whats on console.
