Progression? pretty easy. Challenges too hard? Maybe just get good. Complaining about aim assist? Maybe the problem isn’t the game, its your skill. Want things from the item shop? Use those microsoft points. You say there isn’t enough content? Maybe pay attention to the devstreams/devupdates they have had about a million times. You hate the battlepass? Why? It’s a streamlined way to unlock items. It shouldn’t be the only form of progression (Battlepasses should be separate form leveling like MCC), but that does not tarnish the pass’s quality. The banshee does suck tho. They should fix the banshee. (I’m half joking in this post, but you all seriously need to relax lol)
Gr8 b8 m8, can’t wait to see the replies in this thread
The argument is often about it being the lack of opportunities to be done, rather than the difficulty.
For example, win a flag match. Okay, now we must rely on the rng of quick play to grant us the opportunity to play ctf. At least if it was split team slayer and team objective playlists, then we could narrow these opportunities down.
It’s not a ridiculous ask especially since those two playlists have existed since the dawn of Halo.
Dude what are you TALKING about?
Biggest problem is the lack of content and, yeah, we could go back to MCC but that’s called avoiding the problem instead of fixing it.
Battle pass is mostly fluff, we can’t craft our own armor coatings, and we can’t pick individual gamemodes, or even veto maps and modes in a pregame lobby. Very sub-par, by Halo standards.
Honestly the progression would’ve been okay at launch if we unlocked something worthwhile at each tier, like, who wants to unlock challenge swaps? Those are worthless.
Obviously the free pass guys aren’t getting anything BUT that, and the premium pass guys are unlocking some sort of cosmetic each tier, though usually not anything noteworthy. Ooooh I unlocked BLUE again, yaaay.
And that’s really it… we’re holding Halo Infinite to the standards set by the entire Halo franchise, not other franchises.
There is not a single tier that has a challenge swap on its own, there is always another item. The two blue armor coatings are Carter’s color and Kat’s color. The free pass players can get all the Mark 7 stuff. Infinite has the same amount of maps Halo 4 launched with, and only one less than Halo 3, and they said about a million times more maps, weapons, gamemodes, and playlists are on the way. The menu and coatings suck, but I wasn’t talking about those lol.
yeah but having to wait months and months for stuff that we wanted day 1 is disappointing.
Everything else I agree with though.
Some of this stuff you have a point on but there are things that need improved. Challenges that need stuff like win in x gamemode would be fine if it wasnt a matter of luck to get the gamemode. If that was fixed those would be fine. A challenge can be a difficult task to do but it should be one that relies on your skill not circumstance. For instance I had an awful time completing the return flags challenge. Returning them is easy but it relied on the enemy actually stealing the flag when our team was doing too good a job at defending. The shop would be less annoying price wise to a broke guy like me if you could earn at least a small amount of credits through dedicated gameplay.
@Disc8365 Oh yeah I totally agree with that I just meant the people complaining about getting killing sprees or the challenge this week to get wins in any pvp match. Also they definitely should give some options to get credits
A lot of the mark 7 stuff is locked behind the paid battle pass.
Well, if you bought the pass, sure. But there’s a lot of stuff that isn’t worthwhile, too.
Yeah, pretty dumb, amiright? Same shade of blue arranged two different ways… Sure wish I could just arrange my own color combinations.
Oh, you mean all 13 mk. 7 related pieces? HAHAHAHA what a great joke!
Most of those aren’t noteworthy, and I didn’t include coatings because honestly they should not be core exclusive anyway.
Yup, hated Halo 4 multiplayer. Felt like Call of Halo. Maps weren’t memorable, either. It single-handedly turned my entire Halo group off from the franchise until now.
We don’t NEED a million times more. We need a decent amount of really good maps and gamemodes, not 100 billion sh*tty ones.
All the maps so far have been great. And I said that the have said it a million times, not that they are making a million maps.
Maps are garbage and BTB maps are probably some Of the worst designed maps in any online FPS.
Idk about them being that bad, but the BTB maps feel fine for an objective arena, but they’re absolute trash for vehicles. The tanks can barely move around, the warthogs can barely maneuver around with all these hills that prevent vehicles from being anywhere off the main road, and there’s almost no room for flying vehicles. They definitely need to start making or porting over large open maps like some of the BTB maps from the original games, that have vehicles at the bases, and plenty of room to drive and fly
Completely missing the point but whatever.
These maps are… okay.
It’s missing a blood gulch incarnation. Kind of bad, ngl.
I mean I enjoy these btb maps although I would love to see some classics return. One issue is some maps like highpower to me feel like one side has an easier time
This, plus when i get a CTF match, there are for sure 1 or 2 player in my team, that want to complete another challenge like get kills with this weapon or worse, get kills with this vehicule.
A big problem in BTB battles. People waiting by the verhicle spawn just to grab the desired vehicle ignoring the match objective.
I feel that. I try to help them team but you suffer from that if you have specific challenges. Currently they encourage you to ignore your team and only think about what you need for the challenge. This could be improved if challenges were to get kills with a type of weapon or destroy any vehicle rather than get kills with a pulse carbine or destroy enemy ghosts.
So that’s how 3-year-olds see the world.
You can either be one-sided or maybe try to understand, what 343i is doing wrong, that it is upsetting its longtime Halo fans. We all want a better Halo to enjoy and play for years - what you are doing isn’t helping anyone.
The fact is, that 343i has repeatedly lied to us, which you should know due to dev streams, updates, etc.
Bet you thought Battlefront II was just plain awsome when it launched too huh?
